After beginning his advisory career with Wells Fargo Advisors in 2013, James built a reputation for thoughtful guidance, disciplined planning, and an unwavering commitment to client success.

James brings a grounded, family‑centered perspective to his work and leads Tidewater with a focus on integrity, transparency, and long‑term relationships.

James is also deeply rooted in community service. He is an active member of the Tarpon Springs Rotary and the Rotary Youth Trust – a charitable scholarship arm of the Tarpon Springs Rotary community – that provides multi‑year college scholarships and youth support programs in the Tarpon Springs and Pinellas County community. This work reflects James’ belief in expanding access, empowering the next generation, and supporting the local community.

Outside the office, James is first and foremost a dad. He loves spending time with his two daughters—Savannah (5) and Saylor (3)—who keep life filled with joy, curiosity, and plenty of Disney movies. In his free time, James enjoys staying active through running, cycling, and listening to a wide variety of music.

Joe Huenke has been guiding clients toward financial security since 1981, bringing over four decades of experience to every conversation. Throughout his career, he has built a vibrant practice rooted in a simple philosophy: clients deserve to be heard, understood, and equipped with strategies that stand the test of time. His approach has always been relationship-first, which is why many of his client relationships span decades and multiple generations.

Over the years, Joe has assembled a dedicated team that shares his commitment to client education, transparency, and client first responsibility. Together, they provide the kind of personalized attention that helps families navigate life’s financial milestones with confidence—from retirement planning and wealth preservation to legacy strategies and beyond.

Joe lives in Clearwater with his wife Anita. They both enjoy all things sports from Tampa Bay and Ohio State. Joe and Anita are avid readers with wide-ranging literary tastes who have enjoyed extensive travel over the years with their extended family.

Tom Quinn has been with the team since 1992, building a career defined by long‑term client relationships, disciplined portfolio management, and a commitment to delivering clarity in an increasingly complex financial world. As a designated PIM Portfolio Manager for Tidewater Private Wealth Management, Tom manages discretionary investment strategies tailored to the unique needs and objectives of the individuals and families they serve.

A contrarian by nature, Tom believes that successful investing often requires independent thinking, patience, and the willingness to lean against the crowd. This philosophy helps him identify opportunities others may overlook and maintain discipline during times of market noise and emotion.

Tom’s passion for his work comes from the diversity of the clients Tidewater advises. He enjoys working with a broad array of clients from many different backgrounds and experiences, each with distinct needs, goals, demands, and personalities. He believes the constantly changing market environment brings new challenges and new opportunities every day, keeping the work meaningful and energizing.

Outside the office, Tom loves spending time with his three kids—JT (drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2025), Dylan (University of Tampa), and Paige (University of Virginia commit). When he’s not with family, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, out fishing, or cheering on the Tampa Bay sports teams.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, John, to whom I’ve been married for 28 years, and our two daughters. Alivia lives in New York City and is pursuing her lifelong dream of performing on Broadway, while Alexandra is studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida. I love being outdoors, visiting with family, and embracing the simple joys that keep life meaningful and balanced.

Kareli López Montoya is a Senior Registered Client Associate with over seven years of experience in the financial services industry. She has worked at leading financial institutions, where she has developed strong expertise in client service, operational support, and relationship management.

With an international background, Kareli brings a global perspective to her work and is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively support and communicate with a diverse client base. She is known for her attention to detail, responsiveness, and commitment to delivering a seamless client experience.

Outside of work, Kareli enjoys spending quality time with her family, valuing the balance between professional dedication and personal fulfillment.

Ann Zavaglia is a seasoned financial services professional and a 29‑year veteran of the practice. Throughout nearly three decades of dedicated service, she has built a reputation for reliability, deep industry knowledge, and exceptional client and team support. Ann holds Series 7, 63, 66, 9, and 10 registrations, reflecting her broad expertise and commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

Over the course of her career, Ann has excelled in a variety of key roles, including Operations Manager, Branch Liaison, and Senior Administrative Assistant. Her versatility, leadership, and operational insight have made her an invaluable resource to colleagues and managers alike.

Outside of work, Ann finds joy in spending time with her family. She especially loves attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, cheering them on from the sidelines. She also enjoys cooking, walking, and creating meaningful moments with the people she loves.
